    A three-month sector-agnostic equity-free acceleration program focused on early-stage startups in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The program is driven by lean and growth methodologies to help startups scale faster and hit your next investment milestone quicker.


    Startups will have access to local and international mentors, guided workshops, one on one sessions, introductions to business and investor networks, and targeted training and assistance. Apart from the mentorship, the best performer will receive an investment of up to USD 20,000 from Seedstars at the Demo Day.


    Participants will have increased investment readiness and the opportunity to receive funding from the program partners.

    DGGF & the Seed Capital and Business Development (SC&BD) facility


    The DGGF ‘Investment Fund Local SMEs’ is an initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to improve the access to finance for ‘missing middle’ SMEs in selected DGGF countries. The ‘missing middle’ refers to entrepreneurs whose financing needs are neither served by microfinance nor by conventional capital market players. To enhance the chances of young and first-time entrepreneurs and improve the conduciveness of their operating ecosystems, the SC&BD facility seeks to support local capacity building initiatives and improve their quality, accessibility, and affordability.
